A Canadian couple recently spotted what they described as UFOs as bright as the sun while driving through Fort Alexander at night.
Justin Stevenson and his wife, Danielle Daniels-Stevenson said they saw several mysterious orbs with yellow lights hovering above the Winnipeg River. Stevenson, who filmed the event, said he thought they were seeing some aliens.&nbsp;
&ldquo;It felt like we were in a sci-fi movie,&rdquo; he told Kennedy News and Media. &ldquo;They were super bright like a fire in the sky,&rdquo; he added.
&ldquo;I was skeptical before I saw this but now this has given me the proof I need that there&rsquo;s something out there other than humans,&rdquo; he said.
The clip posted by Daniels-Stevenson on Facebook has gone viral.

The increase in UFO sightings in the US were likely caused by testing of spy planes and new technology, the US Department of Defense said.

The US Department of Defense revealed the reason behind the spike in UFO sightings after the 1950s, clarifying that the US has &lsquo;no evidence&rsquo; of extraterrestrial life.
A new Pentagon report stated that the sightings were caused by tests of advanced US spy planes and space technology. The department listed high-altitude balloons, U2 spy planes and other reconnaissance vessels.
&ldquo;The proliferation of television programmes, books, movies, and the vast amount of internet and social media content centered on UAP-related topics most likely has influenced the public conversation on this topic, and reinforced these beliefs within some sections of the population,&rdquo; the Pentagon report read, as per BBC. The report has also been submitted to the US Congress.&nbsp;
The report also addressed common beliefs that have been influenced by popular culture. The Researchers behind the report took the narrative into account and said many people believe the US has encountered alien life and intends to keep it a secret.
&ldquo;All investigative efforts, at all levels of classification, concluded that most sightings were ordinary objects and phenomena and the result of misidentification,&rdquo; Major General Pat Ryder said, as per BBC.
