Britain’s longest reigning monarch, Queen Elizabeth II passed away at the age of 96 at Balmoral Castle. The news immediately broke after ex-India captain Virat Kohli notched up his elusive ton in the shortest format of the game. The prolific batter once had the chance to meet the Queen, the monarch who marked 70 years on the throne this year.
Before the 2019 World Cup began in England, the Queen invited the captains of the 10 participating nations. Kohli, alongside the other captains was invited to the Buckingham Palace before the Tournament began. Apart from him, legendry cricketer Sachin Tendulkar also had a chance to meet the Queen. Meanwhile, ex-coach Ravi Shastri has pointed out the reason behind India's extended wait for a World title. 
Shastri told that he always wanted that there should be a player in the top six who can bowl. The former Indian cricketer highlighted how Hardik's injury that happened during the 2018 Asia Cup became a major problem for India's performance. Shastri said, 'Team India had to bear the brunt of it' As per Shastri India lost many World Cups since they did not have any player in the top six who could bowl. The former Indian cricketer salso revealed that he had also asked the selectors to solve the problem for them, but nothing happened.
