Every year, 28th May is observed as World Menstrual Hygiene Day. This day is observed to raise and promote awareness amongst women about the importance of menstrual hygiene. It was first observed in the year 2014 by German-based NGO 'WASH United&rsquo;.&nbsp;
There is still a lot of stigma associated with menstruation. Women feel hesitant to openly talk about menstruation, even today. This results in negligence in menstrual hygiene which may lead to infections and health problems. &nbsp;

Change your napkin after every 6-8 hours as using the same sanitary napkin for an extended period of time can lead to infections.&nbsp;
Use only one napkin at a time as using two napkins can lead to irritation and dryness.
