This is for the first time in the US Open that a player has won the final after losing the opening two sets and also the first slam final which was decided by a tie-breaker in the 5th and final set. World number 3 &amp; 2nd seed dismissed India's top-ranked singles player in straight sets 6-3, 6-3, 6-2 as the match was over in just less than 2 hours. Thiem&nbsp;hardly broke&nbsp;a sweat in the match as he next plays Spain's&nbsp;Jaume Munar&nbsp;in the 3rd round.
