Farmers umbrella body Samyukt Kisan Morcha has suspended Swaraj India leader Yogendra Yadav for a month.
The action was taken following Yadav's visit to the deceased BJP member&rsquo;s family in Lakhimpur Kheri where four farmers were mowed down, The Indian Express has reported.
While Yogendra Yadav extended sympathies to the driver&rsquo;s family, the visit did not &ldquo;reflect well for the farmers&rsquo; movement&rdquo;, the SKM leaders felt.
According to farmer leaders, Yadav will not be allowed to speak on stage and can only participate at protest sites. The leader will also not be a part of the core committee discussions during the following month, they said.
Yadav visited the family of Shubham Mishra who was allegedly killed in retaliation clashes after a vehicle ran over protesting farmers.
Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait had then stated that the people apart from farmers who died in the Lakhimpur violence was a &ldquo;reaction&rdquo; and cannot be deemed as violence.

The Swaraj India leader said that the Samyukt Kisan Morcha&nbsp;has&nbsp;finalised the farmers' protest programme schedule till March 15 has been finalised. On March 15, farmers will join labourers &amp; employees in protest against privatisation and corporatization. Further, he said they will appeal to people in poll bound states to punish the BJP and its allies who brought anti-farmer laws in the assembly elections. 'We will go to the boll-bound states', Yadav said and added that the programme will begin in Kolkata on March 12 with a public meeting.

In a meeting of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha&nbsp;it was decided that farmers will block Kundli&ndash;Manesar&ndash;Palwal Expressway at different points between 11 am &amp; 4 pm on March 6 as the farmers' protest enters day 100, Yogendra Yadav informed on Tuesday.
On Womens' Day on March 8, women protesters will lead the protest at Delhi borders and other places across the country, Yadav said. Further, on March 15 farmers will join labourers &amp; employees in protest against privatisation and corporatization.
He also said they will appeal to people in poll bound states to punish the BJP and its allies who brought anti-farmer laws in the assembly elections. 'We will go to the boll-bound states', Yadav said and added that the programme will begin in Kolkata on March 12 with a public meeting.&nbsp;
Bhartiya Kisan Union's&nbsp;Balbir S Rajewal&nbsp;also spoke of sending teams to states going to polls and appealing to people to vote against the BJP.

Senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid has been named in the latest chargesheet filed by the Delhi Police in February riots case for giving 'provocative speeches'. The police have however not mentioned the exact nature of the alleged provocative speeches, reports said.
The 17,000-page chargesheet, filed on September 17, contains a statement from a witness who said &lsquo;Umar Khalid, Salman Khurshid, Nadeem Khan would give provocative speeches at anti-CAA/NRC sit-ins and people would get mobilised.&rsquo;
&nbsp;Khurshid is the highest ranking politician named in police chargesheets so far. CPM leader Brinda Karat, lawyer Prashant Bhushan and activist Yogendra Yadav have also been named in the chargesheet.
