'Either shoot enemy or get shot by Vogue,' Tweeple react on Zelenskyy's photoshoot

Vogue's 'Portrait of Bravery' photoshoot featuring Ukraine President Zeleneskyy and his wife Olena Zelenska has landed in a soup with the couple largely receiving backlash for their move. At a time when the war-torn Ukraine following Russian invasion is battling to save its territory, the photoshoot with a fashion magazine as global as Vogue has made people wonder on what led the President of a war-ravaged country say yes to a photoshoot

A user called Ukraine a "dictatorship country." Another one remarked, "you either shoot your opponent or get shot by Vogue."

Another bunch of users remarked the Vogue photoshoot as 'powerful and beautiful."

Meanwhile, joining the criticism league is also US politician Lauren Boebert who called the duo a "bunch of suckers" saying, "When US is sending $60 billion to Ukraine in aid, Zelenskyy is doing photoshoots for Vogue magazine."

Speaking to Vogue both President and the First Lady discussed at length about the wartime developments, their marriage and dreams of Ukraine's furture, including how they have been spending time without their children.

Olena told Vogue that she was not only speaking as the First Lady, but also as a mother and a daughter, as she urged for weapons that would not be used to wage a war on somebody else's land, but to protect one's home and the right to wake up alive in that home

The Russia-Ukraine conflict doesn't seem to boil down anytime soon as the former continues to make advances in the Ukrainian territory.
