      Imran Khan asked for the meeting, didn't give him 3 options: Pakistan Army

      Pakistan's army has denied Prime Minister Imran Khan's claims that they presented him with three options - resigning, holding early elections or facing no-confidence motion.

      Quoting Pakistani media, news agency ANI said that the country's army has claimed that it was Imran Khan who had asked for a meeting and the options mentioned were not presented by them, they were mutually discussed.

      According to the report, Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and the head of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) met Pakistan PM on Wednesday at the request of the ruling government and then met the Opposition to convey his decision to hold early elections.

      With numbers stacked again him, Pakistan's National Assembly is set to decide Imran Khan's fate in a no-trust vote on Sunday.
