After blaming an ISI general for plotting to kill him, former prime minister Imran Khan has launched an open front against the incumbent army chief Asim Munir.

Speaking to the BBC on the premises of the Islamabad High Court, Imran brushed aside the allegation that the security agencies were against him, which judiciary was favoring him.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chief said the security agencies were not against him but it was only the army chief Munir and the army is getting maligned with what is happening.

Imran said Munir is worried that if I come to power, I will ensure his ouster. The former PM said he tried his best to send Munir a message that he will not do so. The army chief was appointed by the Shahbaz Sharif government after it extended his service tenure.
