India-Canada diplomatic standoff: Justin Trudeau says, India making it unbelievably difficult for millions of people

Day after Canada pull-out is 41 diplomats from New Delhi and their dependents amid a row with India over Khalistan Separatist's killing, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Justin Trudeau remarked that the Indian government's diplomatic actions are making normal life difficult for millions of people in both countries, Reuters reported.

The news outlet quoted the Canadian PM as saying,"The Indian government is making it unbelievably difficult for life as usual to continue for millions of people in India and in Canada. And they're doing it by contravening a very basic principle of diplomacy".

In a televised statement, Trudeau further said, "It's something that has me very concerned for the wellbeing and happiness of millions of Canadians who trace their origins to the Indian subcontinent, Reuters quoted the leader as saying.

It is worth noting that India-Canada ties hit rock bottom after the Canadian PM alleged that Indian agents were involved in the killing of Sikh separatist leader Nijjar in June this year.

Since the start of the stand-off, India has talked tough with Canada refuting the allegations.
