Ahead of singer Justin Bieber's performance scheduled on December 5 in Saudi Arabia's second-largest city Jeddah, he has got a message from slain journalist Jamal Khashoggi's fiancee.

In an open letter published in the Washington Post, Hatice Cengiz has urged Bieber to cancel the performance and not sing for the "murderers of her beloved Jamal".

She also appealed to the Canadian singer to send a powerful message to the world that his name and talent will not be used to restore the reputation of a regime that kills its critics.
