Pakistan's National Assembly to bring resolution against Chief Justice: report

Amid the ongoing protests by PDP supporters and JUI-F against the judiciary over the alleged favours given to PTI chief Imran Khan, the National Assembly on Monday cleared a resolution to file a reference against Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial over alleged misconduct, Daily Pakistan reported.

Demonstrators, belonging to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) and the Pakistan People's Party (PPP), have entered the Red Zone while the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has set up a stage in front of the Supreme Court, Dawn News reported.
