Pope Francis, head of the Roman Catholic Church, had an entertaining interaction with some followers recently. The pope was riding in his vehicle, informally called the 'popemobile', in St Peter's Square, when some priests from Mexico hailed him.

The Mexican seminarians from the Legion of Christ asked the Pope about his knee. The Pope has been suffering from strained ligaments in his right knee for many months.

In the viral video, a seminarian is heard saying, "Thank you for your smile, your happiness, for being here despite the discomfort. You are an example for us, as future priests."

To this, Francis replied, "You know what I need for my leg? A little tequila."

A seminarian said that if he ever visits Casa Santa Marta - the Pope's residence - he would get him a bottle of tequila.

The Pope has been advised to use a wheelchair, cane, and undergo physical therapy to help his knee heal.

Francis recently cancelled a 2-day trip to Lebanon due to his knee issue. But he will be visiting Congo, South Sudan, and Canada in July.
