The plane crashed into a river gorge which is between the Domestic and Pokhra International Airport on Sunday while landing.

Meanwhile, Nepal PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal has called an emergency meeting following the tragic crash.

Nepal has had a fraught record of aviation accidents, partly due to its sudden weather changes and airstrips located in hard-to-access rocky terrains.
