Ukraine reportedly made a fresh appeal to India to try and convince Russia to end the war which has been going on for 11 days now.

Ukraine's foreign minister directly addressed "common Indians" to put pressure on the Russian embassy in Delhi to stop the military operation, as per reports.

Dmytro Kuleba reportedly said that India is one of the largest consumers of Ukraine's agricultural products, and if the war continues, then it would be difficult to plant new harvests. Kuleba said that for global, and Indian food security, the war needs to be stopped.

He also reportedly called on all countries with special relations with India to appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to convince Russia President Vladimir Putin to end the war which does not have the support even of common Russians.
