Video: US cops brutally thrash a suspect for arrest, suspended

Three US cops were suspended after a video of them mercilessly beating a suspect for arrest went viral. The widely circulated clip shows three cops on top of a man kneeing him and bombarding him with punches.

The incident occurred in Crawford county in Arkansas when the cops were responding to a report of a man threatening a convenience store employee on Sunday morning, The USA today reported.

The 34-second-long video also shows one of the cops asking the person recording the clip to stop. Following the social media outrage over the video Crawford County Sheriff issued a statement informing about suspension of all three law enforcement officers.

He also stated, that a probe has been initiated into the incident.
