During his talk with the Australian leadership, EAM Jaishankar thanked Australia for lighting up the Old parliament building in Canberra in tricolour. 

 

‘Warm gesture’: External affairs minister Jaishankar thanks Australia for special welcome

In a special gesture, Australia decked up its old parliament building in tricolour lights to welcome Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Monday. The minister even shared a picture of the building and expressed joy over his welcome.

During his talk with the Australian leadership, EAM Jaishankar thanked Australia for lighting up the Old parliament building in Canberra in tricolour.

This is the second time Jaishankar is visiting Australia. Earlier, the minister had visited the country in February 2022 to attend the Quad Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Melbourne.

Jaishankar held the 13th Foreign Ministers’ Framework Dialogue (FMFD) along with his counterpart Penny Wong.
