UP Elections 2022: 'Samajwadi Attar': Akhilesh Yadav's 'scent of socialism'

You can smell elections in the air of Uttar Pradesh. As political parties gear up to sweat it out, Samajwadi Party has brought in its new fragrance in the mix.

The former chief minister has launched 'Samajwadi Attar', a perfume made up of 22 natural scents as part of its election campaign.

The Samajwadi Party chief said that the scent will show its magic in the 2022 state polls. A party leader who was part of the launch said that people will smell socialism when the use the perfume and that it will end hate.

Bottled in SP colours of red and green, the perfume box has Akhilesh Yadav's image on it.

However, this is not the first time that Samajwadi Party has tried to bottle success. In 2016, Akhilesh Yadav launched 4 perfumes to mark four years of his govt in the state.

How long will the socialist fragrance last, 2022 will tell.
