Alia Bhatt opens up about embracing motherhood: 'Changed the way I look at everything'

This year has been one of the best years for Alia, professionally and personally. Three of her movies, 'RRR,' 'Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva' and 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' became a huge success at the box office. and she also embraced motherhood as she welcomed her first child, Now, the 'Raazi' actor revealed that motherhood has changed the way she looks at everything as an actor tremendously.

In an interview, Alia said, 'Motherhood has changed me so much', She further added that it’s barely been a month since the birth of her daughter, but she doesn’t know how it’s going to change the way she picks her roles yet because she hasn’t gotten to thinking about that'

'Gangubai Kathiawadi,' directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is now amidst campaigns for BAFTA and the Oscars.

During the interview, Alia also shared her experience about working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali during the filming of 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' and what she took back from the role. 'Her innocence and her vulnerability was intact, despite having to play this very strong role for these women.' she said.

She added that It’s something that she feels sometimes also gave her a lot of guts, to speak in a big room. She is constantly told how young she is and it’s always been that way since she started working.

On the work front, Alia will next feature in Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' along with Ranveer Singh. The film will hit the theatres on 28 April.
