Highway (2014)
Even after eight years of its release, the film continues to resonate with people till date. One of the main reasons for this happens to be the stunning performance rendered by Alia in the film. For the unversed, 'Highway' is a story of a young girl Veera Tripathi (Alia Bhatt) who gets abducted by Mahabir Bhati (Randeep Hooda), just a day before her marriage. As time passes by, the film sees Alia finding solace in the company of her abductor Randeep Hooda. Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, the film revolved around drug abuse in the state of Punjab. The film also starred Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Diljit Dosanjh in all-important roles.
Raazi (2018)
This Meghna Gulzar film, which was based on the book 'Calling Sehmat', saw Alia Bhatt in the role of a spy. The flawlessness with which she had portrayed the role of Safeena resonates even today, months after the film got released.
Gangubai Kathiwadi (2022)
From being the Gen-Z Shanaya in her debut film to the absolutely bold and beautiful Gangubai in the recently released film Gangubai Kathiwadi, Alia Bhatt (once again) proved as to why she is the most preferred go-to heroine of every filmmaker.
