Alia Bhatt sings for Samantha Ruth Prabhu at, hints at future collaboration

Alia Bhatt, who is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Jigra, made a stop in Hyderabad on Tuesday for a special event. The occasion, was graced by actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

The duo’s camaraderie became the highlight of the event when Alia humorously sang “Oo Antava,” a song made famous by Samantha in Pushpa: The Rise (2021). Alia, who laughed while singing, was cheered on by the crowd as Samantha smiled beside her.

After the performance, Samantha hugged Alia as the audience applauded, with the event’s host calling Alia “such a sweetheart.”

The event, also attended by actors Vedang Raina and Rana Daggubati. Alia was seen sporting a chic black outfit. Alia praised Samantha, describing her as a “hero on and off-screen.”

She lauded Samantha's talent and for excelling in a male-dominated industry. She also shared that Samantha had accepted the event invitation in just 6.5 seconds.

Alia took the opportunity to express her desire to collaborate with Samantha in a film directed by Trivikram Srinivas, who was also present there.

“This is not just for promotion,” Alia emphasized, stating that she genuinely hopes to work with Samantha on a project. She also dismissed the idea of rivalry between actors.

In Jigra, Alia plays Satya, a devoted sister fighting to rescue her brother, portrayed by Vedang Raina. Directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Dharma Productions.

Jigra is set to release this Friday.
