Ananya Panday recalls initial days of her career; says she sought validation as an actor

Ananya Panday has opened up about her initial days in the industry. The actor said that when she started her career she used to seek validation.

In an interview with Indian Express, Ananya added that it was only this year that her priorities have changed, and she now has a different outlook.

The actor also said that she is a ‘people pleaser’ like her father, actor Chunky Panday.

She shared, “I am exactly like him. When I started out, I was like, ‘Everyone has to love me’ and I couldn’t understand why everyone didn’t love me. It wasn’t coming from a space of thinking myself too be someone great but just that I am nice, I am a nice person, my friends and family like me, why doesn’t everyone?”

‘The Pati Patni Aur Woh' actor shared that this year there has been a drastic change in her life.

Talking about her personal life, the actor shared she was more open about sharing things on the public platform and being ‘stuck in this loop of updating people’.

Ananya was recently seen as guest on ‘Koffee with Karan 8’. When Karan Johar asked her about her relationship with Aditya Roy Kapur, the actor said, ‘We're friends.’ Karan further said, 'Pyaar dosti hai.' Ananya then added, 'Best friends, we are really good friends.'
