Anil Kapoor wrote a note to mourn the loss of his good friend Satish Kaushik. 

Anil Kapoor mourns the death of Satish Kaushik: The Laurels have lost their Hardy

Actor-director Satish Kaushik passed away after suffering a heart attack and the film fraternity is mourning his loss. Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, and Satish have been good friends for over 40 years. Anil and Satish have worked together in multiple movies like 'Woh 7 Din' and 'Mr India' and Satish has also directed the actor in 'Mr Bechaara' and 'Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hai'.

In a heartfelt post, Anil wrote, ‘The Laurels of the industry have lost their Hardy…the Three Musketeers have lost the most talented, generous and loving Musketeer and I have lost my younger brother…gone too soon…I love you Satish @anupampkher’.

Anupam had earlier revealed that Anil, who was travelling abroad, was shocked and devasted when he called him up.

Salman Khan, who had worked with Satish Kaushik in his 2003 directorial ‘Tere Naam’, also shared a note on Twitter and wrote, ‘Always loved, cared and respected him and shall always remember him for the man that he was. May his soul rest in peace and strength to family and loved ones. .. #RIP Satish Ji. (sic)’

Satish Kaushik's mortal remains were flown to Mumbai from Delhi as the actor passed away in Gurugram. His final rites were held in Mumbai. Several of his friends visited his house in Andheri to pay their last respect.
