Anil Kapoor rejects ₹10 Crore Pan Masala Endorsement, prioritizing Health over Profit

Anil Kapoor, has made headlines once again for prioritizing public health over financial gain. With a remarkable career spanning over four decades and more than 100 films to his name, the 67-year-old star has established himself as one of the industry’s most successful actors.

Recently, Kapoor reportedly declined an endorsement deal worth ₹10 crore from a prominent pan masala brand, citing a sense of responsibility towards his audience.

Pinkvilla, Kapoor was approached with a lucrative offer from a leading pan masala company. However, he promptly turned it down, expressing his belief in the importance of endorsing products that align with his values. A source close to the actor stated, “Anil Kapoor was quick to decline the tempting offer. He feels strongly about not promoting products that could potentially harm public health, regardless of the monetary compensation.”

Throughout his career, Kapoor has become increasingly discerning about the brands he associates with, often promoting healthy living and eating habits. He places a strong emphasis on selecting products that resonate with his personal vision and public image, highlighting his commitment to the well-being of his fans.

Kapoor’s stance echoes a growing trend among celebrities who refuse to endorse tobacco-related products. Actors like Kartik Aaryan and John Abraham have also taken a stand against promoting such brands. In the past, numerous stars, including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, and Amitabh Bachchan, faced criticism for endorsing popular pan masala ads. Kumar notably issued an apology after backlash and vowed never to endorse pan masala again.

On the Work front

Anil Kapoor was last seen in Divya Khossla’s 'Savi' and the action-packed film 'Fighter'. He has exciting projects lined up, including 'War 2' with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, as well as 'Alpha', starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh.
