Anurag Kashyap won’t meet newcomers for free, puts up angry post stating charges for meeting people

Anurag Kashyap will no longer be meeting people for free. The ace director seemed angry as he shared a post on his Instagram account. He said that he wasted a lot of time trying to help newcomers and mostly ended up with mediocrity.

Anurag Kashyap’s Instagram post

Taking to Instagram, Anurag Kashyap penned a lengthy note where he said that he will now have fixed rates for meeting new people. “So Now onwards I don't want to waste my time with meeting random people who think they're creative geniuses. If someone wants to meet me for 10-15 minutes I will charge 1 lac, for half an hour 2 lacs and for 1 hour 5 lacs. That's the rate.”

Seemingly frustated Kashyap further added that he is tired of wasting time in meeting people. “If you think you can afford it, call me or stay the f*** away,” he added. Reiterating that he is serious, the director wrote in caption, “And I mean it Don’t text or dm or call me . Pay and you will get time . I amnot a charity and I am tired of people looking for shortcuts.”

Trolls did not show any mercy and Kashyap’s comment section was soon flooded with many calling out the director. On workfront, Kashyap’s last film to release on the big screen was ‘Almost Pyaar’ which did not do well. His directorial venture ‘Kennedy’ with Rahul Bhat and Sunny Leone was screened at multiple film festivals but is yet to be released in India.
