Anushka Sharma celebrated her 36th birthday on May 1 (Wednesday). The actor, who recently welcomed her second child, son Akaay, with husband Virat Kohli, has been away from the silver screen for over five years now. She was last featured in the 2018 film 'Zero', co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Anushka will next feature in 'Chakda 'Xpress,' a biographical drama based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. While the makers have yet to announce the release date of the film, a behind-the-scenes video from the sets of the film has now piqued fans' interest.

On the occasion of Anushka Sharma's birthday, Jhulan Goswami took to Instagram to drop a special video, offering inside glimpses of the sets of 'Chakda 'Xpress'. In the video, Anushka can be heard saying, "Don't you worry. Today, I made my name on the jersey, and tomorrow, I will make my own". The video then featured some throwback BTS visuals, which saw Anushka and Jhulan sharing a warm hug. They were also seen cutting a two-tier cake together at what appeared to be the film's wrap-up party.

About 'Chakda ‘Xpress'

'Chakda 'Xpress' is directed by Prosit Roy, who previously worked with Anushka in 'Pari'. Backed by Sharma's Clean Slate Filmz, the film will have an OTT release on Netflix.
