It's a mega clash as Akshay Kumar & Tiger Shroff starrer 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' and Ajay Devgn's 'Maidaan' are all set to hit the theatres. 

‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ Vs ‘Maidaan’: Know which film is racing ahead in advance booking

The much-awaited Eid weekend is here and so are the two biggest Bollywood releases. It is Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer action packed ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ on the one side while Ajay Devgn’s high on emotions sports drama ‘Maidaan’ on the other.

‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ Vs ‘Maidaan’ clash

Amid the anticipation of tough competition, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ is leading at the box office with advanced ticket sales of over ₹1 crore. ‘Maidaan’ is currently lagging behind and has minted around ₹38 lakh so far. While ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ has been made on a budget of ₹350 crore, Ajay’s film had ₹100 crore production budget.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, a day ahead of the grand theatrical release, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ has sold over 42 thousand tickets. Meanwhile, ‘Maidaan’ has sold a total of 16 thousand tickets nationwide. It is also important to note that BMCM will be releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada while ‘Maidaan’ will only release in Hindi. Both the films will have the entire month as there is no other big Bollywood release in April.

‘Crew’ beats ‘BMCM’ and ‘Maidaan’

The early trends do suggest that Akshay Kumar’s film is ahead in the race, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon’s ‘Crew’ has emerged as a big twist, which has sold more advanced tickets than both the films, according to a Times of India report.

About ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ and ‘Maidaan’

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ also stars Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F and Prithviraj Sukumaran in key roles. On the other hand, ‘Maidaan’ is a biographical sports drama film. Besides Ajay Devgn, the film stars Ajay Devgn, Priyamani, and Gajraj Rao.
