Greta Gerwig’s ‘Barbie’ opened to mixed reviews from the audience.

Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling starrer generated hype and nostalgia.

Mira Kapoor, actor Shahid Kapoor’s wife, recently watched the movie and shared her opinion on social media.

She felt the song and dance sequences in the fantasy comedy are not at par with the song and dance sequences in Bollywood.

Taking to her Instagram story, she posted a still from ‘Barbie’, featuring the lead actors, in a dance sequence and wrote, ‘Hollywood this, Hollywood that. Well, Hollywood can’t do song-and-dance like Bollywood can!’

‘Barbie’ also stars America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, Helen Mirren, Ariana Greenblatt, and Issa Rae, among others.

The film is running behind Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer in India and has earned Rs 21.15 cr so far. However, internationally, the film has outperformed ‘Oppenheimer’, which was released on the same day.

Not just Mira Rajput, television actor Juhi Parmar also penned a long note against ‘Barbie’.

She shared that she walked out of the theatre with her 10-year-old daughter within 15 minutes as she found the content of the film unsuitable for children.

She questioned the makers about why they broke the perfect illusion of barbie, which has been an essential part of a child's life.
