The actor disclosed that Ayan has worked on the forthcoming film for six years and he will spend the next ten years of his life on this trilogy.
‘So when the first part is complete, the audience will know it's not the end. That is something really exciting for me as an actor,’ he said.

‘Brahmastra’ marks Ranbir and Alia’s first on-screen collaboration. The couple will be portraying the role of Shiva and Isha in the film.
Shiva is an orphan from Mumbai, who has a unique connection with the fire, while Isha is his love interest.
The also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna in pivotal roles.

      India’s own Marvel

He said the film is deeply rooted in Indian culture and they have tried to create their own Marvel. ‘Any film, any good compelling story, made in your culture, in an authentic way, in a true form, will connect to a large audience,’ he said.
According to the makers, Astraverse is a planned original cinematic universe centered on Indian mythology.

      Logo launch

The film’s journey began at the Kumbh Mela in 2019 on the occasion of Maha Shivratri. The makers of ‘Brahmastra’ launched 150 drones that illuminated the evening sky to reveal the film’s logo.
