'Brahmastra' teaser launch: Cute couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt get loud cheers from fans

The cast of Ayan Mukherji's upcoming film 'Brahmastra' launched the teaser of the film at a grand star studded event in Delhi.

Ranbir Kapoor just like his character in the film, made a grand entry, emerging from the base of the stage, as crowds cheered the star.

Speaking to fans on stage, Ranbir took a moment to remember his father Rishi Kapoor, who passed away earlier this year.

Ranbir then welcomed his co-star and girlfriend Alia Bhatt on stage, who looked stunning in a red floor length dress. Ranbir kept his look smart casual, in a shirt paired with jeans and completed the look with a denim jacket.

Ranbir also pulled Alia's leg on her upcoming film 'RRR', asking her what the alphabet R means to her? 'Brahmastra' director Ayan Mukerji soon joined the two stars on stage, and the three of them walked down memory lane, grooving to 'Balam Pichkari' from Ayan Mukherji's last film 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwani"

Though the wait for the film to release is long, fans are now waiting with bated breath for more clips from the film, especially more about Alia Bhatt's character.

After years of conceptualisation and working on his passion project, Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' starring Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles is all set for a 9 September, 2022 release.

Apart from the trio, the film also features South superstar Nagarjuna, veteran actress Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles.
