    British rock band 'Coldplay' is set to return to India after a nine-year hiatus. The band will perform in Mumbai as part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour. The announcement was made via a teaser shared by BookMyShow Live, revealing that the much-anticipated concert will take place on January 18 and 19, 2025, at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.

    Coldplay's last performance in India was in 2016 during the 'Global Citizen Festival', which was also held in Mumbai.

    Coldplay's lineup includes Chris Martin on piano, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Berryman, and drummer Will Champion. With hits like 'A Sky Full of Stars,' 'Don't Panic,' 'Viva la Vida,' and 'In My Place,' their return is a treat for Indian fans.

    Tickets for the concert will go on sale on September 22, 2024, at 12 PM IST via BookMyShow. The starting price is Rs 2,500, and fans can purchase up to eight tickets per transaction. There will be no pre-sale for bank customers. Attendees are advised to buy tickets only from authorized sellers to avoid counterfeits.

    The announcement has already generated buzz on social media. Coldplay's official Instagram page confirmed Mumbai dates with a post featuring a teaser.
