'Darlings' trailer: Alia Bhatt starrer brings together all acting powerhouses

The trailer of Alia Bhatt's upcoming Netflix film, 'Darlings', is here. The film marks Alia Bhatt's debut as a producer and also stars her in a lead role. She is co-producing the film with Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.

Taking to her Instagram handle, the 'Raazi' actor wrote, "My first film as a producer!!!So excited nervous thrilled emotional to share it with you!!!! DARLINGS TRAILER OUT NOW!"

The trailer shows Badru, played by Alia Bhatt, filing a missing complaint of her husband Hamza along with her mother, played by Shefali Shah. Vijay Varma essays the role of Alia Bhatt's husband, while Roshan Mathew plays one of the relatives.

'Darlings' is based on the story of the mother-daughter duo who are struggling to settle in Mumbai, seeking courage and love as they fight against all odds. The upcoming dark comedy will be released exclusively on Netflix on July 25.
