Deepika Padukone agrees with Alia Bhatt’s ‘12th Fail’ review, writes this about the film on Instagram

Vikrant Massey starrer ‘12th Fail’ has earned itself yet another Bollywood admirer. Hours after actor Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram stories to give a shout out to the film, Deepika Padukone has seconded Alia by sharing her review of the film. Deepika wrote, “I couldn’t agree more! Congratulations to the entire Cast and Crew!”

Alia’s praise for ‘12th Fail’

Alia had praised the film, calling it one of the most beautiful films that she has seen in a while. She showered even more praises on the lead actor of the film, Vikrant Massey, saying that she was in awe of the spectacular performance by the actor. Alia did not forget to mention director Vidhu Vinod Chopra and added, “this film really hits the spot!”

With actors like Deepika and Alia rallying behind the film, ‘12th Fail’ has become one of the most loved films of the recent times. Earlier, celebrities like kangana Ranaut, Katrina Kaif and Rohit Shetty had given big thumbs up to the film. The film which has received great reviews from the critics, has also been sent to Oscars 2024 as an independent nomination.

About ‘12th Fail’

Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, ‘12th Fail’ is based on the life of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Shama and his IRS officer wife, Shraddha Joshi. Vikrant Massey has played the titular role in the film while Medha is seen playing the role of Shraddha Joshi. It released in theatres in October 2023, but has received a renewed attention after its OTT release on Hotstar.
