'Dhamaka' trailer: Kartik Aaryan chases TRPs as an explosion rocks Mumbai

After winning hearts with rom-coms, Kartik Aaryan is back and this time with a gritty film. The makers of 'Dhamaka' have dropped the action thriller's trailer and fans are intrigued.

'Dhamaka' revolves around the story of a news anchor played by Kartik Aaryan, who later becomes a radio jockey. Kartik getting a tip about bomb blasts at Mumbai's Bandra-Worli Sea Link during his radio programme. He then negotiates his terms with the news channel head and asks for a prime-time slot to return as an anchor.

However, his life takes an unexpected turn, when the terrorist tells him to call a minister and ask him to apologise, otherwise he would blow up the remaining Sea Link and kill everyone, including Kartik's wife, played by Mrunal Thakur on-screen.

Directed by Ram Madhvani, 'Dhamaka' will be taking the digital route and will start streaming on Netflix from November 19.
