On his 45th birthday, Emraan Hashmi got a present as the makers of his upcoming film 'OG' unveiled his first look.

Emraan Hashmi’s fans got a pleasant surprise this morning on the actor’s birthday. The makers of film ‘OG’ starring Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi in key roles have unveiled the first look of Hashmi in the film and have also revealed the name of his character.

Emraan Hashmi’s first look in ‘OG’

Directed by Sujeeth, ‘They Call Him OG’ will mark Emraan Hashmi’s debut in Telugu cinema. The makers of the film decided to reveal his first look and his character’s name on his birthday. Hashmi will play the role of a gangster named Omi Bhau in ‘OG’. The poster featuring shows Hashmi smoking with an intense look with a beard and long hair. A scar is also visible on his eyebrow as he smokes. The poster also has “Happy Birthday Omi Bhau” written on it.
Sharing the poster, DVV Entertainment, the company producing the film wrote, “Happy Birthday deadliest OMI BHAU...@emraanhashmi. Couldn’t imagine a clash more electrifying than with #OG #TheyCallHimOG.”

About Emraan Hashmi’s workfront

Fans were excited to see their favourite actor take on the role of a villain in a Telugu film. ‘They Call Him OG’ will mark Hashmi’s debut in Telugu industry. He will also be seen in Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi’s ‘G2’, which is a sequel to the 2018 spy thriller ‘Goodachari’. He will share the screen with Adivi Sesh in the film. The shooting for ‘G2’ is reportedly in progress.

About ‘They Call Him OG’

With Pawan Kalyan in lead role and Emraan Hashmi as ferocious villain, the film also stars Priyanka Arul Mohan, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Sriya Reddy, Harish Uthaman, Tej Sapru, Abhimanyu Singh and Ajay Ghosh in key roles. The film is scheduled to release in September this year.
