Ganesh Chaturthi 2023: Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra visit Lalbaug; welcome Ganpati home

Actor Shilpa Shetty and her husband-businessman Raj Kundra were spotted at Lalbaug on September 17. The couple began the Ganesh Chaturthi festivities by bringing home the Ganpati idol.

Shilpa and Raj first offered prayers and then went on to reveal the face of the idol to the paparazzi.

Shilpa Shetty was dressed in a traditional attire, while Raj Kundra was spotted wearing a hoodie with his face mask, without which he has stopped making public appearances.

Shilpa Shetty celebrates the 11-day festival with much fanfare every year along with her family.

On the work front, Shilpa Shetty is currently awaiting the release of her latest film 'Sukhee'.

Directed by debutant Sonal Joshi, 'Sukhee' stars Shilpa Shetty as a dedicated housewife who breaks her mundane routine to attend a school reunion.

The film also stars Chaitanya Chaudhary, Kiran Kumar and Kusha Kapila among others.

'Sukhee' marks Shilpa’s second theatrical release post the pandemic.

In 2022, she featured in the action comedy 'Nikamma', which was panned and ultimately bombed at the box office.

'Sukhee' is set to release on September 22.

Shilpa Shetty also has the web series 'Indian Police Force' alongside Sidharth Malhotra in her kitty.
