‘Heart of Stone’: Alia Bhatt says she’s ‘not too worried’ about her limited screen time in trailer

Alia Bhatt, who has limited screen time in ‘Heart of Stone’ trailer’, shared that she’s not worried about it because she feels at the end of the day one has to get a sense of what the story is about and how the story leads you to the final film.

The trailer of ‘Heart of Stone’, which marks Alia Bhatt’s Hollywood debut, was released in the early hours of June 18.

The actor was in Sao Paulo, Brazil, along with co-stars Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan for Netflix’s Tudum event where they launched the film’s trailer.

Fans were excited to see Alia playing the main antagonist, but a few felt that she was given limited screen time in the trailer.

Addressing the concerns in an interview with Mid-Day, Alia Bhatt shared that she’s not worried about it ‘because I feel at the end of the day you have to get a sense of what the story is about and how the story leads you to the final film. That’s all that matters.’

Gal Gadot plays Rachel Stone, a member of the Charter, the secret agency which takes over ‘when governments fail’.

She works with Jamie Dornan, also a spy agent, to maintain peace in a turbulent world. They face off with Alia Bhatt, who stars as hacker Keya Dhawan.

In an earlier interview with Variety, Alia Bhatt spoke about being pregnant during the shoot of her film.

‘It was my first Hollywood big English picture experience and I had quite a task at hand because I was shooting for the first time an action movie. But I’m also pregnant so there were so many layers for me to deal with. But they made it so seamless and so easy and so comfortable for me. It’s something that I will never forget because of how beautifully and how well I was treated,’ she said.

‘Heart of Stone’, directed by Tom Harper, also stars Matthias Schweighöfer, Jing Lusi and Paul Ready. The movie will debut on Netflix on August 11.
