‘Indian Police Force’: Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty’s cop thriller to release on Diwali

Rohit Shetty’s ‘Indian Police Force’, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty, is expected to release on Amazon Prime on Diwali, according to a Pinkvilla report. A source close to the development said that over the years, the director has entertained his audience with films during Diwali weekend and he will continue the tradition this year too.

‘Over the years, Rohit Shetty has treated his audience with films during the Diwali weekend and he will continue with the tradition this year too with Indian Police Force. Contrary to the general pattern of curating content for OTT, IPF is a clean web series that can be viewed by the family audience. Rohit has a brand name to live up to and he was clear on not going below the belt with his digital debut,’ Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying.

For the unversed, Rohit Shetty’s ‘Soooryavanshi’ with Akshay Kumar had also released in theatres on Diwali 2021.

‘Indian Police Force’, which is set against the backdrop of crimes in Delhi, marks Rohit’s digital debut. The forthcoming series will feature Sidharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty as cops alongside Vivek Oberoi.
