Inside Shah Rukh Khan’s 58th birthday bash: Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh attend; see pics

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan hosted a private birthday bash in Mumbai on Thursday night and many stars from the industry joined him to celebrate his special day.

A few photos from the party have surfaced online, giving a glimpse of the guest list.

The photos shared by Fauzia Adeel Butt, Producer & CEO- FAB Entertainment, feature Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, and ‘Jawan’ director Atlee.

Alia, who dressed in black, was joined by her sister Shaheen Bhatt, who opted for a purple outfit.

For the bash, Ranveer Singh donned a black suit, while his wife Deepika Padukone chose a shimmery mini dress. Deepika and Shah Rukh have shared screen space together in several films.

MS Dhoni, Rajkumar Hirani, and his wife, Kareena Kapoor, and Karisma Kapoor were also among the invitees.

The Kapoor sisters took to their Instagram Stories to share pictures of their look. In the photos, Kareena was seen sporting an ivory dress while Karisma dazzled in a green outfit.

Pooja Dadlani, who is Shah Rukh Khan’s manager, shares her birthday with the superstar.

Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film

On SRK’s birthday, Rajkumar Hirani released the teaser of ‘Dunki’. The film, which is slated to release on Christmas this year, also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal.

During the SRK Day event, the actor revealed that he likes to make new films referring to not wanting to make a sequel.

The actor said, ‘I don't want to do that (sequel or franchise). I want to new cinema for all of you because I need a film. A film like Dunki speaks such volumes. Yeh itni entertain karegi (it will entertain people).’ He also added that he feels people will find ‘Dunki’ more entertaining than ‘Jawan’ and ‘Pathaan’.
