IPL 2024: Virat Kohli video calls Anushka Sharma after match, sends kisses to kids Vamika, Akaay | Watch

Cricketer Virat Kohli won countless hearts as he video-called his family, wife Anushka Sharma, and kids—daughter Vamika and son Akaay—after a successful IPL match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, on March 25.

Kohli's remarkable 77 off 49 balls propelled Royal Challengers Bangalore to victory against Punjab Kings. Post-match, he was captured video calling his family, blowing kisses, and gesturing his return to the team. Yet, he continued chatting with them for another minute from the field.

‘The responsibilities never end, and if you have played a knock like this, then talking to family is all the more special,’ a commentator was heard saying as visuals of Kohli looking at the phone with joy played.

The cricketer was spotted laughing, chatting, and making funny faces—likely interacting with his newborn baby boy Akaay. Commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu remarked, ‘It seems he's looking at his little one and he's very happy.’

‘The match is over, and daddy duty begins. He's daddy cool,’ the commentator added.

Fans reaction

The video went viral and fans of the star cricketer dubbed him as a ‘family man.’ A user on X wrote, ‘He is a gem 💎 king Kohli 🫡’, while another commented, ‘I literally can watch him whole day🤌❤️’
