      ‘Jawan’: Raja Kumari sings theme song at New York concert; ‘can’t wait to perform this at every event'

      Grammy Award-winning rapper Raja Kumari surprised her fans at a concert in New York as she sang the title track of Shah Rukh Khan’s forthcoming film ‘Jawan’.

      A Shah Rukh Khan fan account posted a video of Raja Kumari’s performance on Instagram in which she is seen receiving roaring applause.

      Raja reposted the Reel on her Instagram Stories and wrote, ‘Can't wait to perform this at every event for the rest of my life.’

      Raja Kumari also posted pictures from the concert in Brooklyn, New York on her Instagram account.
      For the event, the singer wore a hot pink cape sari and matched it with pink heels and pink sunglasses. In the caption, she wrote, ‘Indian Barbie but the gang is Gulabi’.

      The ‘Jawan’ theme was first heard in the prevue that was unveiled in July.
      After the release of the Prevue, Raja Kumari took to Twitter and wrote, ‘I got locked out of my twitter for weeks and I only came back to tell @iamsrk that I love him!’ Shah Rukh replied, ‘I do too….my Thunder!! Big hug and love to you.’

      ‘Jawan’, directed by Atlee, also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Sanya Malhotra. The movie is scheduled to release on September 7.
