Kangana Ranaut calls Aamir Khan ‘bechara’; here's why

Filmmaker-actor Kangana Ranaut took a dig at Aamir Khan and called him 'Bechara'. Aamir recently attended the book launch event of author Shobhaa De where the two discussed who could play the writer’s role in her biopic and he suggested actors like Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, and Alia Bhatt and said that 'these are the names, at the top of his mind.'

However, Shobhaa De then interrupted him and mentioned that he’s forgetting Kangana as according to her, she would be the best actor to play her on-screen as she has the kind of madness that would be required to play her.

Now, this video is going viral on the internet and Aamir not mentioning the 'Queen' actor's name didn't go well with her, sharing the video on Twitter, she wrote, 'Bechara Aamir Khan … ha ha he tried his best to pretend like he doesn’t know that I am the only three times national award-winning actress none of those he mentioned has even one … Thank you @DeShobhaa
ji I would love to play you'

In another tweet, Kangana thanked Shobhaa for appreciating her work and wrote, 'Shobhaa ji and I have opposing political views but that doesn’t stop her from acknowledging my art, hard work and dedication to my craft that is the reflection of one’s integrity and value system…. Wish you the best for your new book madam.'

On the work front, she has recently wrapped up the shooting schedule of her political drama 'Emergency', she also has 'Tejas' in the pipeline which is scheduled to release in theatres on May 2023. She will also be donning the producer’s hat for ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur.
