Karan Johar announces new film ‘Screw Dheela’, Tiger Shroff seen in an 'all new world of action!'

Get ready for a solid punch of entertainment. Karan Johar has announced his new project ‘Screw Dheela’, starring Tiger Shroff. The filmmaker shared the teaser of the forthcoming film on his social media accounts and mentioned that Shashank Khaitan will be directing the film. Earlier, reports suggested that Tiger Shroff and Rashmika Mandanna have collaborated for a project, but there was no confirmation about the same, until now.

The intriguing teaser of ‘Screw Dheela’ opens with Tiger Shroff introducing himself as Akhilesh Mishra, a PT teacher from India. He mentions being mistaken for someone else. The actor is later seen flaunting his action skills fighting off the goons.

Earlier, a source close to Bollywood Hungama said that the film will be shot in India and abroad with the first schedule expected to kick off in Europe. Tiger and Rashmika will be a part of this schedule. The film is expected to release by mid-2023.

‘It's not one of those run-of-the-mill actioner but has a strong story too and falls in the zone that Tiger has not explored before. The film will be released by mid-2023,’ the source said.

On the work front, Tiger Shroff last featured in ‘Heropanti 2’ with Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. He will next be seen in ‘Ganapath’ with Kriti Sanon and Elli AvRam. The film will reportedly release in December this year. Some of his ther upcoming projects include, ‘Baaghi 4’.
