‘Koffee With Karan’: Karan Johar says ‘a lot of the hate sometimes is entertaining’

‘Koffee With Karan’ is one of the most talked about shows on TV and OTT ever since its debut. The show, which has created many controversies over the years, is currently streaming its seventh season. The host is frequently trolled on social media for favoritism and asking personal questions to celebrities. Many feel that his show promotes gossip culture.

In a recent interview with the Hindu, Karan talked about all the hate he receives for ‘Koffee with Karan’. The filmmaker wonders why people curse the show so much, but also watch it. He said that a lot of hate sometimes is entertaining.

‘I read the threads on Twitter and other portals; reels and reels of discourse that people are having about KWK… and I feel very moved and touched. I’m like, that’s a lot of time you have taken out of your lives to write such a long column on something you hated so much,’ he told Hindu.
