Nawazuddin Siddiqui denies reports of his films not getting OTT buyers, says 'I will make my own film'

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who is busy shooting for his forthcoming transgender-based revenge drama 'Haddi', has refuted rumours that his films are not getting any OTT buyers.

In an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, the actor said, 'My films are not yet ready, I don't know from where this issue has come up, you can talk about my any film for example- Haddi, it is still being shot, before this I completed the shoot for my film Afwaah, the post-production work is on. This work takes at least a year, and if not that, at least six-seven months even if you do it fast.'

'My dubbing work for all my films is still left, including Jogira Sa Ra Ra Ra. Tiku Weds Sheru will come on a leading OTT platform, I don’t know when and also I don't know my which film is denied by OTT, don't know from where this news is coming,' he continued.

When he was quizzed about the reason behind these rumours, he said, 'What would they even can do after pulling me down? I am the kind of person who can sell my house just to make the films, they won’t get anything out of pulling me down. If anyone wants to do that, I am a stubborn person. I will make my own film.'

Earlier, Nawazuddin had said that he won’t take up more shows on the web as he feels that it has become a ‘dumping ground’ for redundant shows.

On the work front, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’, ‘Noorani Chehra’, and ‘Adbhut’ in his pipeline.
