'Paani Paani:' One song ; one year; one billion digital views and streams

It has been one year since the release of Badshah and Aastha Gill's song 'Paani Panni,' featuring Bollywood star Jacqueline Fernandez. The song, which was released on June 8th last year, has managed to garner one billion digital views and streams.

Within 24 hours of its release, the Saregama original had everyone dancing to its beats and it was trending globally on YouTube.

The popularity of the song also reached beyond the Indian shores and the peppy track entered the Billboard Global 200 charts and also found a place in the Top 100 Billboard Global Excluding US charts.

'Paani Paani' has been written and composed by Badshah. The music video marks the rapper's second collaboration with Jacqueline following 'Genda Phool.'
