‘Pathaan’ box office collection day 6: Hindi version of Shah Rukh Khan’s film collects Rs 296 crores

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh has tweeted that 'Pathaan' stands tall on day 6. He also shared that this will be SRK's first film to hit ₹ 300 crore mark.

‘Pathaan’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, is setting new records every day. The spy thriller is set to become the fastest film in the history to enter the Rs 300 cr club surpassing ‘Baahubali 2’ and ‘KGF 2’s Hindi version.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the Siddharth Anand directorial stood tall on crucial Monday and collected Rs 25.50 crore at the box office, taking the total collection to Rs 296.50 crore in six days.

He wrote, ‘#Pathaan stands tall on the crucial Mon [Day 6]… National chains SUPER-STRONG, mass circuits ROCKING… Will be #SRK’s first film to hit ₹ 300 cr on Tue [Day 7]… Wed 55 cr, Thu 68 cr, Fri 38 cr, Sat 51.50 cr, Sun 58.50 cr, Mon 25.50 cr. ‘Pathaan’, which also stars John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana, released in theatres on January 25.

In a recent interview, the director talked about the movie breaking all records at the box office and said, ‘Scripting history. Everyone wants it, but one can't plan it. It just happens. And when it does, it's actually a very humbling experience. I'm feeling incredibly overwhelmed right now and inspired to get back on the film set and try and create something really special for audiences again. That's my state of mind.’

‘With War and now Pathaan, we, the Hindi film industry have given films that have pan India appeal. I have always believed that cinema has no language. Cinema is about an emotion and if it connects with people, it can really go to dizzying heights and that's what's happening with Pathaan,’ he added.
