Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Pathaan’ has become one the biggest blockbusters in the industry, breaching the Rs 950 crore mark worldwide, as reported by the production banner YRF. Now, as a treat for cinemagoers, the producers have slashed the ticket prices of all shows of the movie to ₹110 on February 17, which is being celebrated as ‘Pathaan Day’.

Taking to Twitter, a fan posted about this news in excitement and wrote, ‘#PathaanDay on 17 Feb, 2023 All shows @ ₹ 110 flat!!’ and tagged Shah Rukh, Deepika and John Abraham. SRK, who is quite active on the site, responded to the tweet and wrote, ‘Oh oh ab toh phir dekhni padhegi. (Oh, now I have to watch it again) What a good thing to do. Thank u @yrf Can u arrange some free popcorn also! No??’

‘Pathaan’ marks Shah Rukh’s return to the big screen after four years and the actor has been frequently interacting with fans by hosting the #AskSRK sessions on Twitter where fans ask him questions and he responds to them.

‘Pathaan’, directed by Siddharth Anand, also stars John Abraham and Dimple Kapadia. It has become the fifth highest grossing Indian film in history after beating Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) and Aamir Khan's Secret Superstar (2017). The film released on January 25.
