Star couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are likely to reunite onscreen.

According to a Pinkvilla report, director Nitesh Tiwari will be casting the duo along with KGF star Yash in his ambitious project Ramayan. The film is expected to go on floors this December.

A source has informed that pre-visualisation of the world has already been done and the team is now doing look tests with Ranbir to play Lord Ram.

Pinkvilla quoted a source saying, 'Over the last few weeks, Ranbir Kapoor has been spotted visiting the DNEG office, to check on the progress of Ramayana. The pre-visualization of the world has already been done and the team is now doing look tests with Ranbir to play Lord Ram. The purpose of the visit has been to get the right look for Ranbir as on getting it right, he will then step into the physical transformation aspect.'

Alia Bhatt was spotted leaving Nitesh Tiwari's office on June 7.

'Yash is yet to sign the dotted lines, but Madhu is confident to have Yash on board the film. There are some minor issues, and once they are resolved, Nitesh and Madhu would have things on paper with Yash,' the source shared.

The official announcement on the same is likely to be made on Diwali.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt will soon be making her Hollywood debut with the film 'Heart of Stone'. She will also star in Karan Johar’s 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' alongside Ranveer Singh

On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in 'Animal'.
