Ranbir Kapoor on rumours of Alia Bhatt and him having twins: Don’t create controversy

Ranbir Kapoor has responded to rumours that Alia Bhatt and he are expecting twins. Recently, when he was asked to list two truths and a lie, his admirers were really perplexed by his response. In one of his statements, the 'Shamshera' actor stated that he's expecting twins, which left everyone puzzled. Ranbir's remark quickly went viral online following which the actor made a clarification at a promotional event.
Ranbir was recently in Delhi to promote his forthcoming film and he was asked if his statement was true. The actor sensibly responded, ‘Don’t create controversy. They asked me to state three things: two truths and a lie. Now I can’t reveal what is the truth, and what is the lie.’
For the unversed, Ranbir played a game of two truths and a lie in an interview with Film Companion. He was asked to make three statements, two of which had to be true and one false. The catch was that he wasn't required to reveal which statements were true and which were false. He said, 'I am having twins, I am going to be part of a very big mythological film, I am taking a long break from work.' Everyone was taken aback by Ranbir's response. Netizens started speculating whether the couple is actually expecting twins in response to the actor's claim.
'Shamshera', directed by Karan Malhotra, will release in theatres on July 22. Apart from this, the actor will appear in 'Brahmastra', 'Animal', and Luv Ranjan's untitled movie opposite Shraddha Kapoor.
