‘Salaar’ storm rages on, Prabhas starrer set to cross Rs 150 crore mark in India

Superstar Prabhas starrer ‘Salaar’ continues to storm box office with its collection. Released on December 22, the film directed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel has collected ₹ 148 crore in just 2 days and looking forward to crossing the 150-crore mark in domestic market. The film is all set to earn ₹ 250 crore worldwide today.

‘Salar: Part 1- Ceasefire’ is the biggest opener of the year 2023, with the film earning ₹ 95 crore on the first day of its release. On the second day, it collected ₹ 55 crore according to the estimates. Prabhas starrer left this year’s big hits like Shah Rukh’s ‘Jawan’ and Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ behind in terms of first day collection and is inching closer to 150-crore mark. Released in multiple languages, the mega action-packed commercial film is receiving positive response from fans and critics alike.

Prashanth Neel’s action thriller also has Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan and Jagapati Babu in significant roles. For Prabhas, who is one of the highest paid superstar, this film marks a big comeback after his ‘Adipurush’, ‘Radhe Shyam’ and ‘Saaho’ failed to impress the box office and critics. ‘Baahubali’ actor is receiving good reviews for his latest ‘Salaar’. Post the ‘Salaar' success, Prabhas has ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and ‘Animal’ director Vanga’s ‘Spirit’ lined up.

‘Salaar’ competing with Shah Rukh Khan’ ‘Dunki’ at box office, will be released in two parts. The title of the second film will be ‘Shouryaanga Parvam’ where Prabhas will reprise his role.
